Our online store is developed with software from Lightspeed. Personal data that you make available to us for our services are shared with this party. Lightspeed has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Lightspeed is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Lightspeed uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. Lightspeed reserves the right to share collected data within its own group in order to further improve services.

Webshop hosting

Lightspeed
We purchase web hosting and email services from Lightspeed processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Lightspeed has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Lightspeed is bound to secrecy under the agreement.

Domain name and E-mail traffic

Flexwebhosting B.V.
For our domain and regular business e-mail traffic we use the services of Flexwebhosting B.V. This party has appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Flexwebhosting B.V. has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidential.

Payment processors

MultiSafepay
For handling (part of) the payments in our online store we use the platform of MultiSafepay. MultiSafepay processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. MultiSafepay has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. MultiSafepay reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above mentioned guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of MultiSafepay's services for which they engage third parties. MultiSafepay will not retain your data longer than permitted under the statutory periods.

PayPal
To handle (part of) the payments in our web shop, we use the PayPal platform. PayPal processes your name, address and place of residence data and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. PayPal has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. PayPal reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, as part of this, share (anonymised) data with third parties. All of the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of PayPal's service for which it engages third parties. PayPal does not retain your data for longer than is permitted under the legal time limits.

Shipping and logistics

PostNL / DHL / DPD
When you place an order with us, our job is to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of our carriers to make the deliveries. This requires us to share your name, address and place of residence data with our carriers. Our carriers use this data only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that our carriers engage subcontractors, our carriers will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

Exact
To keep our records and accounts, we use the services of Exact. We share your name, address and place of residence data and details relating to your order. This data will be used to administer sales invoices. Exact is obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Exact does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Accountancy firm VLM
For auditing our accounts and tax returns, we use the services of accountancy firm VLM. We share your invoices with name and address details for this purpose. Accountantskantoor VLM is bound to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. VLM does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Newsletter

Newsletter/Mailing list
At US-TECH Europe B.V., you can subscribe to a newsletter/mailing list. To finalise the subscription, you will receive an opt-in e-mail to confirm the subscription. You can confirm the opt-in by clicking on a special link and by doing so, you confirm the subscription and give US-TECH Europe B.V. permission to use the personal data entered (name and e-mail address). You also declare that US-TECH Europe B.V. has permission to share this personal data with third parties (e-mail software provider) that enable the sending of the newsletter. Each newsletter mailing contains the option to unsubscribe again, thus cancelling the subscription.
